Developed by the Payson Center, Human Info NGO, International Center for Migration and Health, the Support for Analysis and Research in Africa (SARA) Project, and The CERTI Program, and funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development Bureau for Africa, office of Sustainable Development.

The Current Africa Collection for Transition (ACT v1.0) contains more than 300 publications on complex emergency and disaster management in Sub-Saharan Africa.  ACT is an  initiative of the Payson Center, Human Info NGO and ICMH. this initiative is a part of the Humanity Libraries Project, which is a global cooperative project of more than a hundred organizations coordinated by Human Info NGO.  The overall goal of this program is to provide those active in the areas of International Development and Humanitarian Assistance with access to essential publications on a set of CD-ROMs and the internet, made available free or at very low cost.  To date, the following libraries are available: Humanity (English and French versions), Medical and Health, Food and Nutrition, World Environment, and this collection on Complex emergencies in Africa.

We invite all interested organizations to share their useful publications for inclusion in the library, to distribute these libraries, and to become partners in this humanitarian program
